WAG ALP Senior Coach

An exciting full time (part time also available) coaching opportunity exists for two enthusiastic and experienced senior WAG ALP coaches to join our team of dynamic staff delivering high quality coaching and leadership. We are ideally looking for applications from both male and female WAG coaches in order to put together a cohesive and successful partnership to lead and coach our senior ALP gymnasts.

Waverley Gymnastics Centre (WGC) is proud of their highly successful and motivated competitive coaching team and has a strong commitment to ensuring all their coaches are given significant opportunities to grow and develop gymnastics knowledge as well as make a positive impact on our squad program.

This role will provide a stimulating and challenging work environment as well as opportunities for career development.

Successful applicants should have:

  • Advanced / Advanced Silver / Level 2 Coach Qualification
  • Level 2 / Senior / Apply First Aid
  • Working With Children Check
  • Drivers License (desirable)

Gymnastics Coach

An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic, enthusiastic, reliable individual with a current Gymnastics Australia Intermediate Coaching Accreditation to work within our Educational Gymnastics and/or Junior Gym programs.

Successful applicants should have:

  • A passion for working with children
  • A strong belief in child safety
  • Good communication skills with people of all ages
  • Good organisational skills
  • Great ability to work in a team environment
  • Good work ethic and be energetic, honest and reliable
  • Good problem solving skills
  • GA Intermediate Coaching Accreditation
  • Level 2/Senior/Apply First Aid
  • Current CPR
  • Working With Children Check

We run classes every day across four campuses (located in Mount Waverley, Armadale, Glen Waverley and Narre Warren) during the day and in the afternoon/evenings.

Trainee Gymnastics Coach

An exciting opportunity exists for energetic, enthusiastic, reliable individuals to take part in a training program to become a gymnastics coach. No past gymnastics experience required. If you are looking for a career change and have a teaching or childcare background, or if you are a mum who wants to get back into the workforce, we want to hear from you!

All training will be provided to you while you are on the job learning and gaining hands on experience. Hours begin at 4-8 hours per week, and have the option of increasing based on the clubs demand.
